Owners of goods are frequently dealing with the matter of insurance cover only after the damage or loss. For this matter the calculation of the responsibility of the carrier for your consignment is crucial. Responsibility of the carrier in international delivery is limited to 8,33 SDR for 1 kg of goods. In case of damage or loss of your consignment you have the right to reimbursement by the way of normal responsibility of carrier only up to 8,33 SDR/1 kg of goods. Unfortunately, this issue is more complex and limitations of responsibility of the carrier are wider (elements, robbery...). The CMR Convention governs responsibility of international carriers in toad transport. Reinsurance, which we are highlighting, is covering possible claims beyond the normal responsibility of carrier and is minimizing the risk of loss from possible events.
